St Hilary's Community

St Hilary’s Community is a residential aged care facility in Morwell, in Gippsland, Victoria. St Hilary’s offers 51 high and low care nursing home beds.

Residents have a choice of single or shared rooms with ensuites. All meals are prepared on site, in consultation with a registered dietician. St Hilarys’ catering staff pride themselves on the quality, choice and presentation of meals.

The facility was completely re-built in 2007 and 2008, and twenty new beds were added.

Families are encouraged to join their relative at meal times, and staff make a special effort to help families celebrate special occasions.

St Hilary's Community also offers an extensive program to enhance the lifestyle of the residents. Families are encouraged to be part of this program. Staff work to ensure that residents remain a part of their local community, with regular outings to the local shops, cafes and lunches at the RSL.

Podiatry, physiotherapy and hairdressing are available on site.

Dedicated  registered nurses, personal carers and therapy staff work together to understand each resident’s needs and preferences. Staff work with the resident and their family, drawing up a plan of care that addresses their needs and desires.
