Baptcare’s Community Packages program is currently one of the fastest growing areas in the organisation, with Baptcare being the largest provider of community aged care packages in Victoria.
Recent growth in the program has been celebrated at seven official office openings for the Frankston, Ivanhoe, Ringwood, Bendigo, Bairnsdale, Geelong and Morwell offices during July, August and September. Staff, clients, friends and the community attended each opening to celebrate the work that these offices make possible in the community.
The events have provided an opportunity for community members and clients to thank and congratulate Baptcare.
All of the openings had members of parliament attend as guest speakers and a client to share their experience.
The Honourable Bruce Billson MP, guest speaker at the Frankston opening, praised the services that Baptcare provides to the local community, stating that Baptcare not only ‘brings care to life’, but also ‘brings life to care’, while the daughter of a client on an EACH package at the Ringwood office offered heartfelt thanks to Baptcare commenting that “to (Baptcare) it’s service provision, but to us, it’s life changing.”
Mr Peter McGauran, Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry attended the openings for the Morwell and Bairnsdale offices, and commented that Baptcare’s services played a vital role in the Latrobe Valley Community.
Baptcare’s Hume Community Packages office has also recently relocated to a new location in Wallan. The opening for this office has been scheduled for later in the year.
