In honour of Baptcare’s long-standing donors, volunteers and people who have named Baptcare in their Will, we recently held an afternoon tea to say a heartfelt ‘thank you’ to these important people. All Baptcare’s donors and volunteers are instrumental in helping us to provide our many services to the people of Victoria and Tasmania.
On Monday 12 October, 220 guests enjoyed afternoon tea at the Hotel Windsor in Melbourne, where some people caught up with old friends and others made new ones. Guests were entertained by a string quartet and the A Cappella Choir from Carey Baptist Grammar School.
Clients of Baptcare shared their very heart-warming and emotional stories with the guests and explained how the services they receive help them to achieve some of life’s most simple pleasures. We were all inspired by the courage and resilience of the people that we care for.
For the second year running, we at Baptcare are very proud to be able to recognise our loyal and committed supporters in this way.

The cost of the function was covered by our very generous sponsors. A very sincere thank you to Principal Sponsor Health Super Pty Ltd, Gold Sponsors Colorpoint and Joseph’s Chain Pty Ltd, Silver Sponsors BDO Kendalls, Hesta Super Fund and Workplace Legal and Bronze Sponsors AE Smith Service Pty Ltd, Alert Tech Pty Ltd, Lifehealthcare Hospital & Rehab, Progressive Office Furniture Direct, D&A Pulitano Constructions Pty Ltd and Sentinel Fire Services.
