Korumburra Office Opening

Baptcare's Korumburra Community Aged Care Office was officially opened on Tuesday the 28^th of June 2005.  

Mr Russell Broadbent, Member for McMillan, Cr Diane Casbolt, South Gippsland Shire Mayor and Jeff Davey, Baptcare's Chief Executive, officially opened the office, cutting the red tape.

Mr Broadbent said that he “sees clients improving under this type of care (Community Aged Care) and it is a real benefit to the local community as it takes older Australians out of isolation and re-socialises and integrates them back into the community”.

Korumburra is Baptcare's third Community Aged Care office in Gippsland, the other two being located in Morwell and Bairnsdale.
