Help us give a child a Christmas worth remembering

Abercare is calling on individuals and businesses to be a part of this year’s Children’s Christmas Party and give struggling families and their children a Christmas to remember.

What is Abercare’s Children’s Christmas Party?

On Wednesday the 3rd of December, Abercare is holding its annual Children’s Christmas Party where over 500 children, individuals and families are expected to enjoy the festivities.

The Christmas party is a major event on Abercare’s calendar and will be held at Moonee Valley Racecourse. Activities are being organised for every age, taste and level of ability and will include pony rides, face painting, a jumping castle and an animal farm- just to name a few!

You can donate a Toy online

Abercare Family Services, with Simply Giving, offer you the opportunity to donate products online for Abercare's 2008 Children’s Gift Appeal. All products have been selected by Abercare to best suit the children it cares for and will be delivered by Simply Giving direct to Abercare for Christmas. Donate online to receive your FREE certificate of appreciation, gift card or origami gift box.

List of required goods

Abercare requires the following goods for the Children’s Christmas Party 2008. We specifically ask that all items are of a high quality and have not been used.

• Toys (age 1-12)
• Gift vouchers (age 12-18)
• Confectionary
• Non perishable savoury goods
• Show bags
• Costumes and entertainment
• Decorations
• Face paint
